28/12/2008  - Preparing the Inner End rib for the fuel attachments & stiffeners

Ian joined me for the morning and he managed to get all the stiffeners done for the fuel tank installed and match drilled.

I spent my time sorting out the inner most rib with its fuel pick up.  This tank will have a fixed flop tube in it (See Key Decisions).  The pick up tube is safety wired and also locked into position with an anti-rotation device so that the end of the tube is always under the fuel.

The fly cutter was brought out again to cut the necessary hole in the rib for the inspection plate and then I spent some more time installing the inspection hatch strengthening ring including the plate nuts.
